In 2006, as a Trial Attorney at Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc., Joe began standing up against abuses of authority and amassing his record of winning jury trials against the government.
In 2013, Joe founded the Law Offices of Joseph M. McMullen to hold the government accountable at trial when its officers kill or seriously hurt people. Since then, Joe has tried several cases successfully in federal and state courts shining a spotlight on abuses of authority.
